Glass Beakers Section
Glass beakers are suitable for heating and mixing. Most are graduated and include a white writing panel. These beakers are made out of Borosilicate glass, more usually known under brand names like Pyrex, Duran 3.3 etc. Care should be taken in changing the temperatures "slowly". Avoid direct flames (use a diffuser like a wire gauze mat) and don't put hot beakers on to cold surfaces like stainless steel benches.
