RED DOT FINDERSCOPE
Red Dot Straight Through FinderScope with dovetail bracket
Makes finding Astronomical Objects so much easier, No magnification, what you see is what you can find.
Spotting objects for your telescope at the right spot in the sky can be challenging (Very late, tired, insects, accessories you can't find or see! etc). A standard finder scope often gives a magnified, upside-down image and a much smaller area, compared to the naked-eye view.
The Red Dot finder is a zero-power sighting device that shows a tiny, LED-powered red dot, focused at infinity, against the sky as you look through. The dot, which is centered in a wide 10° upright field of view, shows exactly where your telescope is pointed. The brightness of the red dot is adjustable to 2 positions. Adjustment screws allow fine positioning of the dot horizontally and vertically for precise alignment with the main telescope. It can be easily installed on any telescope with the quick-release dovetail mounting base.
Weighing less than 100gr, it's a great upgrade that won't even unbalance small telescopes.
